The cost of Motor Vehicle Claims continues to increase, driven by a number of factors:

  • Australia is one of the top 5 most litigious Countries in the world
  • New technologies are inflating repair costs
  • Increasing labour rates
  • Move to replace rather than repair
  • Increased congestion, more vehicles on the road, increased accident frequency

These increasing claims costs are having a direct impact on insurance premiums, which is pushing a trend towards many fleet operation taking on more exposure themselves via higher excesses or even self-insurance.

At BusInsure we have recognised and understand this shift in the market & the need to support our clients and the Bus and Coach industry with enhanced Claims Management services, in particular under excess claims management.

After looking at various options, we are pleased to announce that BusInsure has entered into a strategic partnership with QRM Claims Management to manage our clients motor vehicle claims, QRM is an AUB group company who are a specialist MV Claims Management and Assessing company, currently operating under the Austagencies banner.
